The day that I went on the airplane to come back here to Berkeley. The level of anticipation was high especially because I had so much to do up here. But before that, I had to take care of a few things. I had to call the Verizon DSL guys to cancel the router that I had canceled before but came anyway (took about an hour), called thegeeks.com to cancel this order and placed the right one, then called my unit in West Oakland to find out what the schedule is for the drill, and made copies of Divx CDs that my step-cousin Albert had but I didn’t have. I got my CD-RW out, went to Walmart to refund a headphone and headed to best buy to buy another one, did my laundry, packed up something from amazon.com to return, and got 155 lbs of luggage ready to go, all after waking up at 9 and before 1PM. I had about 70 lbs of mischelleneous snacks, clothes, and other stuff packed up, but I also had another 75 lbs of food. Why so many lbs? Well, because I don’t have Spring Break till 22nd or so of APRIL and my brother is still living with me till at least the 13th of March. So we needed a lot of food, and my bro had forgotten to bring some stuff. Left for the airport at 1:30, met up with a chick named Karen that goes to Berkeley, and ate McDonald’s at the port for lunch before takeoff at 3:30. The pilot must have been new, cuz he went all the way over to richmond, circled around, and went back to Oakland. So we lost about 20 minutes there. Maybe there just wasn’t room. But on top of that, he put us not in Southwest terminal, but something like United Airlines terminal, so it took a while for us to figure out where we were. Got back home at 6 thanks to my brother who drove, put all the stuff away and in the refrigerator, collected all the built up mail, and settled down some. I organized some 200 Divx CDs I had into the CD storage pages that had arrived while I was gone, completed 99 percent of my EPSQ for top secret clearance, mailed Dreamcast games I had borrowed back to Kevin and Chris, ate dinner, got some mail in rebates ready to mail, and got myself ready for drill weekend and went to sleep at 12:30.
