So I had this craziest rash last week. I didn’t really know what to do because it really came out of nowhere. The only thing I can think of that I did different that day was ordering coffee from Tully’s 2 hours before the rash was noticeable. Then it got really really bad. I took pictures of it just to showcase it to my future ex-girlfriend to be. Well anyway, Tony and Patrick took note of it and I tried to go to sleep (sleep it off) but it didn’t get any better. I took a shower (which according to Patrick could have been bad if it was poison ivy or something) and it didn’t get any better; in fact, I think it got worse. So I called Cher and she recommended going to a doctor. Since it was like 11PM in the night, she recommended Hydrocortisone to relieve the itch. It worked like a charm and allowed me to sleep through the night. Thanks Cher!
Monday was one of my better days of the semester. I got all the things I ordered in the mail, including the Ionic Breeze. It’s factory refurbished, but I’m sure it’s just as good. So far, I don’t really notice anything different about anything in the room, and since it’s so quiet, I get the feeling it’s because there really isn’t anything different about the room. But I suppose I’ll keep it. It’s the new germinal protection one, so once Patrick and Tony are both suffering from fevers, I’ll be happy I did.
I found out I got a 96 on my last Econ midterm. Considering it was one of the 4 I took last week, it was a relief to find out because I was really stressed that week. Now this week I’m not really doing anything, just chilling. Then I had the softball game on Monday night, and we won! We won 7 to 5. I had two ground outs and a walk (0 for 2), but that’s about it. I did a lot more defensively when the bases were loaded and the play was at home… twice. So that brought the tension down and I feel like I made a difference because those 2 runs could have tied the game. It felt so different cuz we won! To lose 3 in a row then win… that was something. But of course I left out the fact that it was the battle of the unvictorious that night.
I drove to Fremont again today to check out my TMJ. According to my doctor, I’m going to move on to the next phase that consists of functional orthodontics and braces. It sucks cuz I thought that when you first get braces you’ll never have to get them again, and I did during junior high and a bit during high school, but in the long run, this will really pay off. The drive there was so bad… it was the first time I’ve ever driven in a pretty bad rainy day. First off I learned why the very inside lane was so empty. I was like these stupid people, I’ m just gonna go 60 miles per hour and pass these suckers. HAH! But that’s when I ran into like 3 little ditches in a row and I thought the car’s axle had come loose or something. That’s when I realized, oh, that’s why people are avoiding the inside lane, cuz all the water building up. So I switched and went 40mph… And I also realized that even though you can’t see shit in the rain anyway, you can at least help the person behind you see you by leaving the headlights on. I mean this rain was pretty bad… I left at the peak of the rain and got back when it was sunnier. But besides the fact that the car was all foggy and there was crazy rain and the windshield wiper wasn’t working right and the car in front of me didn’t have the lights on, I made it there safe and sound.
