UC Berkeley 165 – Berkeley, California – 2005

Today was just a lot of fun. I had a presentation in the English class regarding Hamlet’s psychological status in the Shakespeare play Hamlet, and I think I kicked ass. Then a little nap, and took off at 730 pm for the 630-930 global political economy class. We had a break at 830, but we didn’t go back in with the rest of the class after the short 10 minute break, because really, that class is bullshit. Some girl named Jimenez walked by and my group project members and I, the 4 of us started to salsa with her in the lobby. I know I sucked because I’ve never done it before, but it was really fun to look at. Giancarlo is really good, he twirled her around and everything. Some guys passing by were like “Giancarlo, you’re an animal!” While we’re hanging around, we noticed that 2 out of the 3 candy machines had a candy hanging on the edge. So we shook it and grabbed M&Ms and some pretzels for free. We went back into the class 5 minutes before it was over at 930, and I took off immediately to Piedmont apartments to small group gathering. Had a little slice of pizza for dinner, and we played some games and told ghost stories. It was a lot of fun. I also made a dog tag for Kevin and I gave it to him today. I’m really glad he liked it. Also went to go visit Tiffany perform as the page turner at the Chamber Music Concert on Monday night. Most of the performances were nice, the one right before the Intermission I thought really hit the spot. Mad Kudos for Victoria for playing the cello, too. That was an awesome piece, except the violinist I feel kind of ruined it. She’s really good with that cello, though, fellas! Go see her play!

Is it something I said? So I found out that pretty much everyone from FiCB is leaving Capri Apartments next semester. Dennis, both Priscillas, Alice, Amanda, Susannie, Fred, and Wonnie are all taking off. Well, you guys will be sorry when you find out how much fun Danny Yoon and I are having. Hah! I finally got in touch with Philip, the guy that used to live right next door to me. I remember him for his genuine kindness and friendliness, which I have not yet to see in Capri ever since. I will be at his commissioning ceremony (hopefully) some time this summer.
