Chiropractor, then ENT. I got to hang out with Sung and went to Dana point today. He brought 3 friends from his classes with him. I had a lot of fun, they were all really talkative. Later we went to this International Friends Night. It was a collection of various international students from all over the world that are going to community colleges at or adjacent to Cerritos College. I met this Bolivian fighter pilot, and I was very impressed by the guy. He spoe English fairly well for someone that’s been here for not that long. The whole thing was ran by white people, and I was thinking to myself, are they religiously driven? It wasn’t long before I found out, yes, it was. The guys put out dinners every Friday pretty much, and teach the students about the bible. I was thinking to myself, why can’t people from Berkeley do things like that? It’s mutually beneficial in that they were out there teaching them about the american culture, taking them to camps and baseball games and to the beach and what not, and while helping them out with their homework, they would also hold bible studies. I was very impressed by how much effort they put into it and everything. They had a whole sound system set up, a little barbecue and even had some white ladies do Hawaiian dances and stuff. Overall, it was a great experience.
