My Way: The Best of Frank Sinatra
By Frank Sinatra
Fly me to the moon
For some reason, I had this song stuck in my head for the longest time:
Fly me to the moon
Fly me to the moon
And let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like
On Jupiter and Mars
In other words hold my hand
In other words darling kiss me
Fill my life with song
And let me sing forevermore
You are all I hope for
All I worship and adore
In other words please be true
In other words I love you
I saw the eyes of the woman whose mother recently passed away. The same eyes that exuded confidence before were instead shadowed by the veil of heavy makeup that attempted in vein to hide the pain and sorrows from times that will live only memory and the regret of times that are never to be. If you don’t do so already, let your family and close friends know how much you love them.
Bain:
Thank you for taking the time to interview me on Monday morning for a possible job opportunity within Bain & Company. Although I am fairly disappointed that I was not extended an offer, I do feel confident that I exhibited good business judgment when I had the answer to the case in the first ten minutes. I do recognize that I fumbled through the next twenty minutes in analyzing a glorified accounting problem, which I feel is easier to learn than it is to teach how to quickly analyze an ambiguous business problem and lay out practical and executable solutions to the problem. I’ve just emailed X and expressed that my impression of Bain remains the same: they’re highly skilled, highly motivated groups of personable professionals whose sum is greater than its parts. I want to wish you best of things to come and express my gratitude for your time once again.
