MBA Preparation 7 – IBM – Financial Analyst – New York – 2009

Today, I had a discussion with my brother about some things. It eventually led to me saying that I hate being powerless to help the members of my family when things are bad. He asked me if I wanted to be the savior of the family. My response is this:

Yes. I want to be that savior. Even if that means I need to be crucified.

On the drive home today, I realized that that’s the commitment of love that God has made for all of us. He saw us suffering in pain and sacrificed his only Son to be crucified to save the world from eternal damnation of hell. And He hung on the cross with a smirk on his face, knowing that through this sacrifice, His family, you and I, will be saved.
