“Cheat on your girlfriend, not on your workout.” At least that’s what Reebok is now saying. This ad was later pulled by Reebok, who issued a formal statement of apology and stated that they do not condone such message. The ad only appeared in one gym in Germany.

Regardless, this is a phrase that’s apparently been going around recently. In fact, there’s even a T-Shirt made of it (Men’s “Cheat On Your Girlfriend” Comedy Gym Singlet by Iron Tanks Gym & Fitness), which is marketed this way: “Cheat on your girlfriend – Not on your workout. A simple mantra that many men are beginning to follow. This is another classic best seller from our range of comedy singlets. Guaranteed smirks all round! Limited stock available!”

Of course in the subjective moral beliefs of atheism, belief in the survival-based process of evolution through natural selection, and nihilistic mindset of postmodernism, this type of mantra is hardly unbelievable. You lose the sanctity of the divine, you’re bound to lose the sanctity of human beings made in the image of the divine. You lose the sanctity of human beings, you lose the sanctity of relationships. You lose the sanctity of relationships, and knowingly cheating on those relationships becomes a comedy. “Guaranteed smirks all round!” Screwtape would be proud.
