We woke up early today so that the tour van can come by to pick us up at 6AM. It took us about an hour to get to the Volcano. The van took its time going up, but they did a great job getting us there. If I was to do it again, I would invest in getting some gloves.
It’s 2 PM now and I’m tired from lack of sleep and hiking up some 1400 feet to almost the peak of the mountain. My heels are peeled up from the boots rubbing against my crappy socks. But I’d do it all over again if I had to. It was worth every single minute. It was definitely the highlight of my trip.
