UC Berkeley 18 – Berkeley, California – 2002

Friday. Which meant I had no class. Woke up at 11 AM, went to Patrick’s around noon, and we went to Astronomy class from 1 till 2. I found the class quite fascinating. I had always enjoyed astronomy ever since I read tons of astronomy books back in the days, and this class just reinforced why I like it. Plus the instructor was superb, funny guy. Patrick asked about the possibility of going faster than light, and the instructor responded with a description of theory of relativity. Came back home, took care of some Army paperwork and found out some information. Speaking of which, by the way, is taking a lot longer than I would like and had anticipated. Had a sudden urge to go out at midnight with Tony, went up to Foothill, saw a lot of fraternity houses and parties, most of which were quiet, which meant one of few things. People were getting drunk, the fraternity sucked, people getting high, or something else. Then we went to Patrick’s dorm, and on the way there, saw some drunks getting a citation from the police, a lot more bums, and a lot of more people on Telegraph Ave. than I had expected at 1AM. Came back home at 3AM after messing around with Patrick’s floormates.
