Second week here, and I’m doing fairly well. The army units are giving me trouble still, but I have yet to contact them. I will do that later tonight, but I’m not too worried about the results. I am quite busy still, although I know I could use a job. I turned in aps to three different places, and I have yet to receive a callback. But no fear, I will keep looking. I am in the process of filling out a fee-waiver, which will get me out of 165 bucks I owe for tuition, and also some financial aid available for veterans like me on top of the army money, so let’s see where that goes. I do not know army scholarship money status yet, I suppose I will find out on my next drill. I haven’t gone to a single drill since april, can you believe that? I guess it’s about time to go again.
School work is not as heavy as Berkeley, but it is still larger than i thought. The curriculum is pretty demanding, and soon I will have too many projects and stuff to do to fool around like I do now. But I know I will still have enough time to work. In the future, I plan on trying to get into YMCA building next to Vista college to work out, go to Berkeley Public Library and sign up, get a student ID card at Vista College, and etc.
