I had slept at 2 and I was dead tired when I woke up, so even though I woke up at 6:30, I didn’t quite get up till 7, and I was late in getting to the base by 30 minutes. I did a lot of paperwork today, mostly organizing stuff for captains directly in charge of me in the S-3. Then I got to put on a mask again for the first time since the summer, and I had one assigned to me. The bike ride there wasn’t bad, but the way back is the pain in the ass. Literally. I mean, I don’t think I would mind as much if the incline was on the way there, but instead, it’s on the way back when I’m tired. I thought I would get used to it after a while, but I’m not. Came back home. Started cooking for dinner when David came by. It was really nice to see Mr. Uyan after all these … months. He grew out his hair and I appreciate the extra effort he made to get here. Thanks a lot, your 30 minute visit did a lot more for me than you would think. Went to sleep early at 10:30 PM because I didn’t wanna be late for tomorrow’s drill.
