August, already. I remember short while ago it seems like I was just attending school, getting started on Spring Semester. Now here is August, and I stand here jealous of the people about to attend school once again. Where did the summer go to? I remember June 15, when we came, and the last week of May, when we were supposed to be here. 2 months of summer vacation went to nothing. Once again, my summer’s been wasted, pretty much. I haven’t spent one decent summer since the end of my sophomore year in high school. I want to go home.
Yesterday I talked to SFC Mettler about some stuff. And while we were talking it occured to me that she’s a millionaire. At first I was really reluctant to accept it. I was thinking you’re not getting me that easily. But after a while too many people confirmed it. She’s losing a lot of money in this deployment… another way to see how the military is screwing people over here.
