15th of November. Well, at least the days seem to be going faster now that I’im busier. But the other day I heard the bad news that come January, we won’t have any more conditional promotions… as in, I can’t get promoted because I haven’t been to PLDC yet. So that sucked big time. If that is the case, then I probably won’t stay here as long as I originally planned.
Today is a strange day. I woke up at around 0830 hours, and now I got someone sleeping on the cot next to mine that’s not SSG Mathes. No one knows who the fuck it is and it’s kind of creeping me out. I’m guessing he came in by accident thinking it’s his tent… But who knows? I have no idea who it is. Roberson says it’s Fitz, but it’s not… Well, SSG Fig just told me that he’s the COPE from Iraq and he’s staying here for quite some time.
Miceli’s being his dumbass again. Sometimes it’s just fun watching him buy all the unncessary stuff. Like when he used to buy all those dvds… well he doesn’t buy as much anymore. But he did just recently buy a 2300 dollar laptop. I have no idea where he’s keeping all the money nor what he’s doing with all the money he’s saved. He says he has about 10000 dollars saved up. So I asked him, well you told me you have some debts… and he says, oh yeah, after that I have about 2000. Even that number is now kind of questionable. I know he’s paying off debt, but I have no idea how he’s still in as much debt as he is right now. The thing is, he bet me the other day that he’s going to be a millionaire in 5 years. How? Well, apparently he and 3 other siblings of his are going to go into real estate and buy and sell them at a speedy rate. I just don’t think it’s going to happen, given his intellect. But I did hear that his sister makes a lot of money as a stripper, so maybe she’s going to be a millionaire, not him.
So I bet him 500 dollars that he’s not going to be a millionaire in 5 years. He is so confident that he’ll get it. So right now, on 11 Nov 2008, we’re supposed to get together and pay one or the other the 500 dollars. I have a good feeling I’m going to win this bet. I think I never lost to Miceli before. Me and him… we go way back to last year at F5 school. But since then, I’ve won him in every game, even in such as solitaire, playing 5 bucks a game.
