No, I’m not actually watching the movie Antz. I’m sure people that have the same problem get what I mean. There’s ants all over my house. I swear, I woke up this morning and i was like who the hell is tickling my finger? Ant. What is that thing moving around my keyboard? Ant. On my guitar? Ant (I actually had to stop playing a couple times because they were crawling on the strings). Then yesterday I flushed my toilet and a freaken giant cricket came out of nowhere. I didn’t shriek like a little girl but I was looking for something to kill it with. It had two antennaes about 3 inches long. Perhaps then a Bug’s Life is a better movie I should be referring to.
Yesterday, I watched Harold and Kumar go to Whitecastle with Matt Lee. Pretty funny movie, it has its parts. I thought that the weed scene with Kumar was especially hilarious, what with the coffee and the bitch-slapping. Haha if you’ve seen it, you would know. So if you don’t know, go and find out! Oh and did you know that the Korean guy, John Cho, is 32? Sure doesn’t look like it though. And if you didn’t catch the joke in the beginning, where the white guy goes “better luck tomorrow! that’s in direct reference to another movie he made for Sundance, which I thought was a really great movie. I heard it was a true story, too. Today I’m hoping we get to watch either The Village, The Manchurian Candidate, or Collateral. Perhaps all 3? I don’t know.
But after the movie we decided to go shop around a little bit, after my request. Went to Banana Republic looking for pants and we met Lisa Han there. It’s amazing how many Lisas I’ve run into, the only other one that I know that I haven’t met is Lisa Crawford. A damn shame, I know. Well so I was like, hey you know, since you’re here, what do you think about this shirt I’m thinking about getting. And she goes, well, you could do this, it’s summer so it’s like that, and I’m like, damn, maybe I should go shopping with you some more often. She looks same-different (meaning she’s still beautiful but in a different way). So I ended up making the purchase (thanks Lisa. By the way, what college does she go to?) Then there was this obviously gay guy helping out Matt. How do I know? Well, Matt was asking about these dress shoes and I’m wanting to get a pair of them, too, they were quite nice, but anyway, right after the guy from BR says, we only have 3 pairs of size 10s and that’s it, I’m like hey, do you have any size 9s? OK I know it was stupid, but the guy holds out his arm with his hand up, kicks his head back and rolls his eyes around . (shudder …wtf?). I’m sorry I asked the question, but I was sorrier when I saw what I had to see.
Then we went to Sam Goody’s to meet with Jeanne working there. It was kind of weird seeing her again in Cerritos, after we just met her in Berkeley like 3 days ago. She hasn’t changed much since… the last time I’ve seen her haha.
