I started speaking up against George W. Bush after my brother got deployed to Afghanistan and his second deployment to Iraq seemed all but certain. But now, with him being married and out of the Active Duty Army, it’s time to look into this unpopular war yet again. From icasualties.org:
You can barely tell by the chart, but we’ve never had 3 consecutive months of 40 or less US Deaths. Hopefully, with about half of December over, we’ll make that cut this time. I hope this declining death rate becomes a trend (hopefully, averaging less than 50 over the course of 6 months). If it does, I will never again speak ill of George W. Bush. I will simply return to state of indifference about our soon to be ex-commander-in-chief.
