GMAT Preparation 27 – IBM – Financial Analyst – New York – 2008

So when you live in a room with your table set up so that you can work on the computer and watch tv at the same time, you end up watching quite a bit of TV. Because of the fact that the only HD channels I’m receiving are those network ones transmitting over the air, I watch a lot more of NBC, ABC, and CBS, and not as much ESPN. I try to mix in CNN, CNBC, MSNBC kind of stuff, but I started watchiing MTV and VH1 only recently. Here’s my favorite episode of ‘Free Radio’ on VH1. I personally thought it was hilarious. It’ll remind you of Ricky Gervais type of humor, more like ‘Extras’ than ‘The Office.’ Here’s my favorite part, in episode 3 (it’s at least somewhat vulgar).

There’s a show on NBC New York called LX TV where a couple hosts take you through various spots in New York, ranging from restaurants to museums and such. One of them’s named Sara Gore, and besides the fact that I think she’s pretty, I really like her voice. There’s something about somewhat husky and not so high pitched voice.

So I was wondering why a wedding ring’s on the ‘ring’ finger and I came across this video that explains that the thumb represents your parents, index finger your siblings, middle finger yourself, ring finger your significant other, and pinky your children. Now bend the middle fingers and touch them back to back, and touch your other finger tips together, you’ll find that you can individually separate your thumbs, index fingers, and your pinkies from each other. But you can’t separate your ring fingers away from each other. I’m probably the last guy that found out about this, but I thought it was pretty cool, check it out:
