September/October, I will be unemployed.
Some people talk about our generation being a different breed, an impatient one. I whole heartily disagree. Companies used to have pensions. People used to actually work no more than 40-45 hours a week. Much of the health care was paid for.
Isn’t it funny that the only company that still has all of that is Microsoft? The company founded by the very man I used to and many others continue to despise for his immense wealth? I once read that he kept so much cash on hand because he wanted to be able to pay every single one of his employees even if he couldn’t sell a single software.
What happened?
Blame it on my generation. Blame it on me.
