Wow, Google Voice is awesome. I can call anyone in US/Canada for free, my brother and my father’s home phone for 2 cents a minute, and their cell phones for 17 cents a minute. I would dial any other number on my cell phone. So I just got my Skype balance refund cuz I’ll never have to be tethered to a computer again to make a phone call. From first fumbling around with phone cards on a landline, to being tethered to a computer, to now being free to call anyone anywhere in the world from anywhere I am is pretty awesome.
I’m realizing that quotes give you instantaneous credibility. For example, what if I were to tell you that businesses are great tools to do great things? Yeah well, that’s just what I think, who cares?
But what if I told you I’m actually quoting Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook? All of a sudden, you’d care. Perhaps you’d agree, or perhaps you’d argue against it. But you’d definitely care. It’s sad, but that’s just the way it is.
