Thursday. Stayed home, chilled until Calculus class. Did my laundry for the most part, but other than that, I think I was pretty much free. Calc class turned out to be alright, he let us out early as usual, which is cool. Since it was Halloween, though, I went to Hallelujah night with David Shin, Tony, and David’s friend. It was alright, it was an attraction for little church kids. But since I’ve never done that before in my life, I decided to check it out instead of going to Castro like Tiffany and Patrick and Tony did. Theresa was there with a friend of hers from small group, but I don’t think she particularly liked it all too much. I’ve never realized until that day that I’ve never really seen a pastor and his wife together before. I’ve only seen my own parents doing their own thing, but it was quite a sight to see, it kind of hit me like, woah, that’s something I haven’t seen before. I got my face painted by Dennis, who drew on a heart without me knowing it. So I was pretty infamous that day for having a heart on my cheek. Then afterwards, Jason, David and I went to In-N-Out, where David treated me as his policy is, so I ate a cheeseburger and a double double. Good stuff. We got into a pretty good conversation regarding Christianity and stuff, and I don’t think I conveyed my idea very well, but I had a lot of questions ligering around, got some of them answered, and I got to know David’s point of view. I think I’m wrong in some parts, but I coudln’t particularly agree with him in some parts. But I do know that he’s a very smart man and his basis on the Bible is strong. I have a lot of respect for the man.
