One of the busier days. We finalized everything, including paletizing more stuff to get mailed with us, and our personal gear. We went to the PX one more time and the post office, too, just to make sure. The hardest part of the day was being assigned to get the bed and all the M16s, the SAWs, and the M9s in the admin office back to the barracks. Then we swept and mopped once again. Since we knew this was our last night, we cleaned up everything and went to the chapel for heat injury video and watched Tears of the Sun. I took that time instead to call a lot of people, and I’m really glad I did. Then we heard the news that Porcayo isn’t coming with us. On one of the morning runs we did 6 miles up and down total, he must have tore his ligaments there.
