UC Berkeley 148 – Berkeley, California – 2004

Sucky weekend, but a good one at that, too. Dodgers lost their bid for the World Series today, and Cal Bears lost to USC on Saturday after a really great outing by Aaron Rodgers. Koodos to our offense and defense and no kodos to special teams. I hope USC keeps winning to represent the PAC 10 in the championship. Looks like USC and Oklahoma will duke it out this year, but we’ll see.

But it was my mom’s bday on the 4th of October, so I flew down on Thursday night to celebrate a bit late. My brother was also home from Korea, and my step-dad was, too. The 4 of us haven’t spent any time together since X-mas of 2002, and I don’t know when we will again. I also ran out of meat in my fridge. And I got tickets to the USC game. So all in all, my flight down to LA this weeked was just perfectly timed.

I got 4 tests this week. MicroEc on Monday, Stat on Wends, and Sociology and CIS on Thursday. Fairly tough week, but I think I can pull it off. So far, my econ studying hasn’t been very fruitful.

So I got Intramural softball on Monday nights, Small group on Tuesday nights, FICB on Friday nights. I’m trying to keep busy, what with school and TMJ at Fremont almost every week and Cal Football team kicking it off to a great year.

I’m trying to figure out who to vote for this year. I don’t like Kerry, but I don’t like Bush. I don’t like Bush because he’s stupid and he sent me to the Middle East. I don’t like Kerry because I just don’t think he’s trustworthy. But I’m leaning towards Kerry. Why? Because Iraq is in a mess and I want to see what another commander in chief could possibly do.
