Turns out that the program I applied for is for both IBM/Xerox Finance. I won’t find out which company I’ll be applying for till later. I’m hoping since they’re hiring 18 of us (they’re waiting on one more guy) and they had 12 people in the IBM program last year, I’ll still be in White Plains this Summer. If not, I’ll be in Connecticut with Xerox.
But at least now I know the salary. It’s $1000 per week and there will be additional lump sums for relocation and miscellaneous expenses.
Spring Break:
I bought the tickets for my Spring Break plans, finally. I’ll be leaving for LA on Sunday the 26th, after my church retreat at Yosemite from Friday evening till that Sunday afternoon. After that, it’s to see a friend of mine who I’ve known for, all my life, really, since she’s 3 months older than me. But ever since we went to different schools after preschool, I must have spent a total of 2 or 3 days with her. This trip will allow me to double that. If I feel like I’m leaving prematurely come Sunday the 2nd, I’ll travel to Korea to see her while she’s working there for the next couple years.
