Turns out the recruiting office screwed up. I wasn’t leaving today at all, I am leaving instead tomorrow 1700 hours, Tuesday 21 May 02. So I am very excited to be here, able to say my good byes before I really leave. I need to stop by my reserve center around 0730 hours, pick up some stuff that I need to take back to South Carolina, and then I am free till 1700 hours when my recruiter picks me up.
I can’t believe the turn of events that are taking place. I thought I would never see some of us ever again. But instead I am given a second chance. I hope everyone had a great trip with the yacht, and I would like to wish everyone a fun summer once again.

I can’t believe it. I need to get ready to go by Monday, 20 May 02, 5PM. I can’t go to ditch day because I won’t be back in time. I plan on taking the Comp Sci and Econ test on Monday, though, and I heard a lot of people still aren’t going to ditch day, so maybe some seniors will still be on. I’m only worried about Calculus and English. I’m hoping that I can do something for English to maintain my A, but Mrs. Palmieri wants me to do something. And hopefully, Mrs. Breik won’t be picky and just give me a B for Calculus. I’m excited because this way, I can go to Korea after returning from AIT. Expected return date is July 22nd or 29th.
Lots of planning to do, so little time. I’m excited, overwhelmed. But everything is working out so well. I’ll spend Prom weekend at my Army drill. Probably the last time I’ll see them, since I’ll be moving to another location near Berkeley next weekend-a-month training.
