My mother is currently very excited over the prospect of finding her old schoolmates she left behind 9 years ago with the immigration to America. And who could blame her. My step-father’s done the same, and he recently received an email back from his long lost friend, who has become a millionaire and owns a company. My step-father was all smiles looking into his picture at his webpage.
I can’t believe the school is coming to an end. I’m going to miss so many people, yet I am very excited at the idea of meeting so many more in the near future. Here are the list of people I’ll miss for sure and why, in alphabetical order:
Let me know if I missed anyone.
Michael Borroto – One cool guy. I admire his personality and ability to work his way up and his neverending connections and punchlines… that and his mustang that he bought with his own money. I really believe he’s on his way for great things in the future.
Christine Chen – I’ll miss her a lot, for obvious reasons. If you don’t know, you don’t know.
Lisa Crawford – I’m only sorry that I haven’t talked to her earlier. And yes, I was going to ask her to Prom because it is such a waste to see her go stag. I’m surprised no one else had the guts. She’s pretty and funny guys. Some of you need to get a better sense of taste in girls and take your opportunities when it’s standing in front of you.
Matthew Lee – I still believe that you need to control yourself sometimes and control your pride and sometimes arrogance. But I’ll miss your casual and interesting conversations.
Matthew McKinney – His movies, ability to drive, and sense of humor. There were tough times but a lot more were memorable. Thanks for everything, and have fun at UCLA.
Sung Nam – Cypress instead of CAP, or Vista College in Berkeley. I’m going to miss you a lot, your subtle humor and your spirituality that kept me in place. Stay cool and I’ll visit you at UCLA in two years.
Jason Shinar – Saved me from myself and my family many times. I don’t know how else I would have managed without him being there for me even if he didn’t need to be. Hell, he didn’t have to do anything that he did for me. I really dont think he belongs in SD, he’s too good for that.
Jenny Sinson – Great friend, a great conversationist, and someone you can never be bored with. I told her that school is coming to an end too soon. But now that it’s sooner, I’m just regretful that I’ve never spent more time with her.
David Uyan – The next generation anteater. I’m glad he transfered from Cerritos. Saved boredome many times, a lifelong friend. Always keeps promises, and yes, a pimp to filipino girls, namely Jenny, also a future anteater. Best of luck with your careers.
I’ll see these people up in Berkeley next year a lot and keep in contact still:
