Don’t have class on Friday, so I woke up late. Patrick came over, and we went out for lunch at Fat Slice. Then went through Berkeley, making sure Patrick knows where to go in his first days of classes. Came back to drop off some stuff, and ended up giving up my half eaten pizza to a hobo who asked, ‘are you going to eat that?’ I said no, and I gave it to him, who looked like the happiest man alive. He said thanks, and I said don’t worry about it, I was gonna throw it away anyway. But I wasn’t, I was going to microwave that sucka, and that Veggie Pizza is quite good, too. Went to Patrick’s Dining Facility, met some people named Annie and Tam, who played pool with us and ate dinner with us. Went to Fellowship at Berkeley at 7:30, met a really nice Sophomore white girl named Liz, and we talked, got acquainted. Got back home around 9:30, shopped for books online.
