Today was Stephen’s birthday. But since we didn’t prepare much for him, and Prakash wasn’t gonna be home, we decided to hold it till the 6th. The scary part was when Stephen had someone come over for some reason named David, and I called him over to the side and asked, today IS Stephen’s birthday, right? He said it is? Well, that didn’t help, so I told him to just keep it down and pretend we don’t know. Stephen certainly did receive a lot of calls though, and it was also scary listening to him saying, yeah, thanks for remembering over and over on the phones. But thank God he didn’t even mention the word birthday. Went to AG Edward’s at 19th street with Patrick so on the 6th, he will know where to go. Also my first BART rapid transit subway system experience. I think they could post up more signs and make it a little more clear and have more exit places, but I suppose it’s good enough. Maybe the Korean subway system spoiled me cuz they did it so well there. But AG Edward’s was nice. About 4, 5 miles away from Berkeley, I suppose, and it’s a walking distance from the subway station there, which is nice. Nice building, too, really clean, and the semicircle on the ground level floor lobby is surrounded by windows half inch thick, at least 25 feet high. Really nice facility. The elevators are super fast too! One moment of embarrassment was when the elevator was stopping as we were going down. Well, I didn’t realize it was literally going 3 floors a second, and when I jumped as it was coming to a rapidly deccelerated stop, I landed HARD. So hard I fell on my ass. I can’t believe this. It never happeend before. Ever. I bet the security officer looking at the camera was laughing at my ass. Oh well, it was fun jumping going up and down. Bought my calculus book, 94 BUCKS!!! AHHH. Back home, stayed home, nightly routine.
