I slept from 6 AM till 11 AM. Then went to Merrill Lynch. Ms Madrid wasn’t there, so I just came back home 30 minutes after. That was after mailing a package to Jiehoon in DC for his CD and his Twin Towers fridge magnet, and I worked on the English final essay that took me a while to fix up. Called a lot of different people today, SSG Herbert, SFC Freeman, the UA and the retention NCO at the West Oakland MI bas. Then I tried to set up my GI Bill and Loan repayment stuff, but since I haven’t completely changed units yet, it’s not possible till later. Then I called home. It turns out my mom received her bday letter that was supposed to arrive on the 4th on the 3rd. Oh well, hopefully, it had the same impact as I wanted. Received a letter from Canada today, and it gave me such joy that I invited Patrick, Tony, and Tiffany to dinner, on me. They didn’t take a huge advantage of my ecstatic mood, but it surely was nice eating Top Dog for the first time and getting some boba as well. Ran into Tammy and whats his face, Puneet, hanged around at Patrick’s for a while, then took Tiffany home, went home myself with Tony. Tried installing Windows XP, since I had formatted my computer, thinking that would fix a lot of problems I’ve had with it. Unfortunately, Tony’s Windows CD had defects in it, so I couldn’t install Windows… went to sleep soon thereafter.
