Wow, so a lot’s been happening these days. I decided to switch back to Blogger because I like the simplistic version of it than Xanga. And I like to post Blogger more as a reflection, and I find that with Xanga I feel like I’m almost forced to read everyone else’s Xanga posts. What does Xanga stand for anyway?
David Uyan came up on the 5 Sep to Berkeley, as he put it, the city of culture. Everything was all fine and dandy, of course. But that’s before he popped out his pack of cigarettes and said he has 3 left. I knew Patrick and Tony didn’t wanna smoke, so that left Sang, David and me. Haha good old David. Always encouraging me to smoke. And so naturally I did, because it was perfect for the three of us. First time in a month! I passed by 2 church members that I know of, but screw that.
Tiffany’s volunteering at Children’s Hospital in Oakland, so naturally I dropped her off and picked her up yesterday. But that’s when the power went out in Berkeley, which really sucked for me because I was hoping to get a chance to work on my essay that was due today. It was still out by 9, so Patrick and I went to the Berkeley Marina for a few minutes and later picked up Tiffany and Tony at 10 and went to Lawrence Hall of Science up on the Berkeley hill and chilled for an hour. Quite a drive, but I liked it. I might consider biking up there, although it really is pretty steep. Power came back on around 11.
My splints for my teeth broke last night. So that became an emergency right away. I had to drive to Fremont and back on a school day to see my doctor for TMJ. The worst part was that power was out last night, too, so I didn’t have too much time to do anything yesterday. So I skipped my first class and barely made it to my 2nd class at 2Pm.
Other random things:
Clearing out 4 claims for my insurance company.
Fixing Tony’s bike (the wheel malalignment, breaks too close)
Moving out to the living room.
Choosing my guitar (Fender American Telecaster) and proud of it!
Biking/BARTing to Fremont.
Ran 3 miles with 35 pounds on my back.
