When, in the course of human events, a man is caught speeding past the red light, he must be willing to pay up for the violation with a $50 fine (and no points lost). The city of New York finds me guilty of negligence.
By the way, no qualms about paying this fee. No points lost, just a flat $50 fee. New York City really got this one right.
