Christians will argue that this was the OT god and that he’s different in the NT. His wrath was quenched with Jesus’ sacrifice. How do you counter?
1) A Biblical counter: Matt 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
2) A philosophical counter: A claim that God’s “wrath was quenched” goes against arguments that God is unchanging and/or outside of time.
Hmm.. what do you think?
